Industrial Service Plumber – Piping Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Service Plumber with deep piping knowledge to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, and overhaul complex, high-pressure piping networks and fluid systems in industrial facilities. This position requires a valid driver’s license for travel between sites. Availability to work Fridays and weekends is essential, as much of our critical maintenance occurs during facility shutdowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekend & Shutdown Service: Execute critical piping maintenance, system overhauls, and repairs during high-priority Friday and weekend facility shutdowns to minimize client downtime.
- System Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex industrial piping systems, including high-pressure steam, compressed air, process chemicals, and heavy waste lines.
- Piping Installation & Retrofitting: Read blueprints and isometric drawings to lay out, fabricate, and install large-scale copper, carbon steel, stainless steel, and PVC piping networks.
- Mobile Field Dispatch: Drive a company service vehicle safely to various client facilities, managing on-site documentation and material inventory.
- Code & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres strictly to local plumbing codes, industrial regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Schedule: Mandatory availability for Friday and weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Licensing: Valid Journeyman Plumber license or Red Seal endorsement.
- Driving: Valid Class G driver's license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in an industrial service or maintenance environment.
- Technical Skills: Mastery of specialized joining methods including pipe welding, brazing, threading, and rigging for heavy industrial pipes.
Pay: $24.45-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
