Assistant Manager – Tim Hortons
Location: Northwest Hamilton, Ontario
We are recruiting an experienced Assistant Manager for a busy Tim Hortons restaurant in Northwest Hamilton.
The ideal candidate will have strong Tim Hortons experience and a solid understanding of the brand’s operating standards, systems and commitment to guest service. We are looking for a thoughtful, focused and people-first manager who can support the team, maintain high standards and help create a positive, well-organized restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day operations
- Lead, coach and motivate team members
- Maintain Tim Hortons standards for food quality, service, cleanliness and guest experience
- Assist with scheduling, training and employee development
- Monitor inventory, food costs, labour and other operational targets
- Help ensure health, safety and food-handling procedures are consistently followed
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and support a welcoming restaurant culture
- Take responsibility for the restaurant during assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience with Tim Hortons is strongly preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Tim Hortons systems, standards and restaurant operations
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- A calm, thoughtful and solutions-focused management style
- A genuine commitment to supporting and developing people
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to Northwest Hamilton
