Starsky Fine Foods is looking to hire a Dairy/Grocery Supervisor. This position is responsible for placing orders with vendors, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the orderly and efficient operation of the department by supervising Dairy/Grocery Clerks and directing daily departmental activities. The Dairy/Grocery Supervisor is also responsible for stocking shelves, merchandising products, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the department.
Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a grocery store environment; supervisory experience is a definite asset.
- Merchandising experience is a must.
- Experience placing orders with vendors and managing inventory levels is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Good math skills and confidence working with numbers.
- Strong teamwork abilities, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
- Ability to remain attentive, organized, and focused in a busy environment.
