Cedar Bark Contracting is a full service landscape company based in North Vancouver servicing customers primarily on the North Shore looking to fill multiple positions. Employment is full-time and is focused on our core services: Landscaping Maintenance, Hardscaping, Irrigation & Lighting
Landscape Maintenance Worker
A successful candidate has:
- Horticultural knowledge; plant identification skills, a solid understanding of plant health, proper pruning techniques and familiarity with soil health and turf management
- Experience with landscape maintenance and other key aspects related to landscape work
- Knowledge of tools and equipment with the ability to operate them safely
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Punctual, reliable and dedicated worker
Desired Skills and Requirements
- Experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping
- Able to perform heavy lifting and strenuous activity
- Steel-toed boots, rain gear
- Fluent in English
Assets
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience in operating trucks and machinery: skid steer, excavator.
Compensation
- $20 - $30/hour dependent upon skills & experience
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Year round
