Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, along with strong time management and food safety knowledge.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards
- Use POS systems such as TOAST POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management
- Serve food when required, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal requirements
- Friendly personality with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
