Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair tasks.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment to support industrial processes.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and team members to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial, municipal, agricultural and commercial environments.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, control wiring, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with construction processes, renovation projects, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial settings is essential.
- Familiarity and troubleshooting ability with pumps, motors and motor controls.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
