Reception & Administrative Assistant

Our client is seeking a polished, professional, and dependable Reception & Administrative Assistant to join their team on an 8-9 month temporary assignment covering an employee leave. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience with a respected organization while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions truly make a difference.
Conveniently located in Northwest Edmonton, the office offers free parking and is easily accessible by public transit.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome visitors and provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and by email
- Respond to inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate team members
- Support the Registration team by maintaining accurate records and updating information within the organization's database
- Scan, process, and organize documents while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment, courier services, and general office administration
- Assist with meeting room bookings, room set-up, catering arrangements, and post-meeting clean-up
- Maintain organized filing systems and support records management
- Coordinate building maintenance requests and assist with special administrative projects
- Provide additional administrative support to help ensure the office operates efficiently

You'll bring:
- At least two years of reception or administrative experience
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning new systems
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- The ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with databases is considered an asset
- A professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
