Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Fry Cook to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing excellent food service to our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, food safety, and teamwork are essential. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a passion for food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried foods according to company recipes and standards
- Ensure all food items are cooked to the correct temperature and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fry station and surrounding areas
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in meal preparation during busy hours to ensure timely service
- Serve food promptly and courteously to customers or servers
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies needed for food preparation and notify management of shortages
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
