Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in residential settings, ensuring our clients' homes are comfortable, tidy, and welcoming. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure surfaces are sanitized and spotless
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Prepare light meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating basic cooking skills when required
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient workflow
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning preferences and needs
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, respectful, and attentive to client requests
Requirements
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus but not required
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to perform light cooking and laundry tasks as part of the cleaning service
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are preferred for travel between client locations
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
