Overview
Webb Motors is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, self-motivated and friendly Technician or Apprentice Level 1 to join our team. Our shop works on a variety of vehicles and equipment of various years, makes, and models. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, powersports, and diesel vehicles and trucks. The ideal candidate must have experience with powersports and automotive repairs, and must be willing to work on vehicles, powersports, and diesel vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on vehicles and various equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and vehicles.
- Operate equipment as needed for testing and repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems.
- Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity.
- Assemble parts and components according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in engine repair and maintenance.
- Experience with different types of equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
- Welding skills are a plus for performing necessary repairs.
- Capability to assemble mechanical components accurately.
- Familiarity with dealership environments is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Experience
- Automotive repair: 5 years (preferred)
- Powersports repair: 5 years (preferred)
- Diesel repair: 5 years (preferred)
