Hardscape Apprentice

Fiddler’s Green Landscaping is hiring a Hardscape Apprentice to join our residential construction team in Calgary.
This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in precast installation, woodwork, or related outdoor construction who wants to grow their skills in hardscape. If you enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and building high-quality outdoor spaces, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, edging, and other hardscape features
- Support base prep, grading, compaction, cutting, and material installation
- Assist with landscape woodwork and related construction tasks
- Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive job site
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely
- Support daily care and maintenance of tools, trucks, and equipment
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in precast installation, woodwork, landscape construction, or related construction work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well on a team
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
