Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. As a Bartender/Server , you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness at the bar and around the store, and providing excellent hospitality to our patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning countertops.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu offerings, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Familiarity with bartending techniques, drink recipes, and POS systems is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
