Jenkins Marine Ltd. is currently seeking skilled yacht fairer/painters to work on vessels while delivering exceptional quality and working to achieve strict deadlines. Key responsibilities are as follows.
- Fiberglass hand layup
- Fairing of yachts and yacht components
- Color matching paint and gelcoat
- Spraying gelcoat and topcoat
- General surface preparations and painting
- Sanding and body work
- Demonstrate safe work practices at all times
- Must be reliable, honest, and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous yacht fairing and painting experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of paint products, finishes, and surface preparation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Positive attitude, flexible, and a team player
- Strong communication (English - Written & Verbal)
Education / Training
- Multiple years of fiber glassing experience
- 2+ years of yacht painting experience
Hourly Wage
- The wage is determined by previous experience and skillset.
