Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. and preferably looking for someone worked in fast food restaurants. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or merchandising are considered advantageous. The Cashier will play a vital role in ensuring smooth store operations and fostering customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS systems
- Process transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card payments, and mobile payments
- Provide product information and demonstrations when needed to enhance customer experience
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to increase sales opportunities
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed at the register
- Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times and improve service flow
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as stock replenishment and product placement
- Ensure compliance with store policies regarding cash handling and security procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in fast food restaurants, cashiering, or customer service is preferred ,training will be provided
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, and sales techniques is advantageous
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with technology sales or product demos is beneficial for certain retail environments
