Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RECE to join our educational team. This role involves supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing classroom environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for early childhood education. Experience working with children with disabilities, are highly valued. **Full time position to start September 2026; ability for part time from now until september available**
Duties
- Working as a team with other educators in planning and implementing engaging educational activities tailored to early childhood development
- Support children with their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and classroom transitions
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and learning spaces
Qualifications
- Vulnerable Sector Screening
- First Aid + CPR Level C
- Registered ECE (asset)
- Experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings is an asset
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and classroom management techniques is an asset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
- Excellent time management and leadership abilities to support a dynamic classroom environment
- Passion for teaching and fostering positive developmental outcomes for children
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
