Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Safety Manager to oversee and advance our safety program across the United States. The Regional Safety Manager plays a critical leadership role in developing and enforcing company-wide health and safety policies, supporting regional operations teams, mentoring Safety Officers, and driving continuous improvement through data, audits, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and support a team of Safety Officer and field safety personnel.

Conduct nationwide audits, field inspections, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, and MUTCD standards.

Develop and implement health and safety policies, training programs, SOPs, and corrective action processes.

Conduct field visits, risk assessments, and planned/unplanned safety observations.

Work closely with operations leadership to build and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture.

Manage incident response, including root cause analysis, injury follow-up, and return-to-work coordination.

Serve as the company’s safety representative in external regulatory and client-facing meetings.

Support operational readiness for new regions and high-priority projects with safety startup plans.

Travel up to 60% of the time, including extended visits to West Coast regions one week per month.
Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of OH&S experience in construction, highway, utilities, or traffic control.

At least 3 years of leadership or managerial experience in a multi-site or national capacity.

In-depth knowledge of OSHA, MUTCD, DOT, and EPA standards.

Strong communication, team leadership, and field coaching abilities.

Skilled in using Microsoft Office 365 and safety data platforms.

Ability to travel regularly and work in outdoor environments and active work zones.

Valid U.S. Driver’s License and clean driving record.
