Duties
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and identify discrepancies
- Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and support budgeting activities
- Assist with payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with relevant regulations
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure all records are complete and accurate
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting practices in a professional setting
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements
- Familiarity with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis techniques
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Basic understanding of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards
