En quoi consiste ce poste
Le commis aux installations fournit un soutien complet au gestionnaire des services auxiliaires pour tous les équipements, fournitures et opérations générales des installations. Ce rôle nécessite une personne enthousiaste et proactive qui agit comme point de contact clé pour les clients, visiteurs et fournisseurs tout en offrant un service à la clientèle exceptionnel. Le poste implique d'aider à la coordination de l'entretien des installations et de soutenir diverses fonctions administratives pour assurer le bon déroulement des opérations quotidiennes.
Vos tâches quotidiennes comprendront :
Aider à la coordination et à la planification des activités d'entretien et fournir du soutien pour les petits déménagements de bureau
Gérer les petites tâches de gestion des installations et surveiller continuellement les opérations du bureau/des installations
Agir comme interface avec les clients, visiteurs et invités tout en assurant un suivi approprié avec les clients
Soutenir l'équipe d'entretien en collaborant avec les fournisseurs et prestataires de services, notamment les installations, le service de conciergerie, les déménageurs et les fournisseurs d'équipement
Réapprovisionner les vêtements de protection et autres fournitures d'exploitation au besoin
Effectuer des tests de routine des douches de sécurité et des postes de rinçage oculaire
Agir comme remplaçant pour le rôle de technicien en environnement (gestion des déchets/recyclage)
Effectuer des services d'accueil au besoin
Soutenir le département d'expédition/réception
Exigences physiques et environnement de travail :
Capacité de soulever 50 livres régulièrement
Capacité de passer une grande partie de la journée debout en effectuant diverses tâches
Doit être capable de travailler rapidement avec les mains et avoir une bonne coordination œil-main
Marcher et rester debout pendant de longues périodes dans l'ensemble de l'installation
Se pencher, tendre le bras et s'étirer pour accéder aux casiers de courrier, zones de rangement et équipements
Utiliser divers équipements de bureau, notamment les machines d'affranchissement, imprimantes et photocopieurs
Travailler dans un environnement de bureau typique avec une exposition occasionnelle aux zones mécaniques
Qualifications requises :
Diplôme d'études secondaires ou DES
1 à 2 ans d'expérience préalable en salle du courrier et/ou en installations
Solides compétences analytiques et organisationnelles
Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral
Excellentes compétences informatiques, notamment en traitement de texte, Excel et saisie de données
Capacité de travailler de manière autonome avec peu de supervision et de gérer efficacement les situations stressantes
Capacité de planifier et de gérer le travail sous contraintes de temps
Qualifications préférées :
Connaissance des machines d'affranchissement, imprimantes et autres équipements de bureau
Compréhension de base des processus de coordination de l'entretien des installations
Expérience avec les services de messagerie et les systèmes de suivi de colis
Expérience du service à la clientèle dans des environnements corporatifs ou d'installations
Familiarité avec la coordination des fournisseurs et la gestion des prestataires de services
Expérience de soutien aux déménagements de bureau ou aux activités de gestion d'espace
Personnalité autonome avec confiance, énergie et flexibilité

Facilities Clerk
What this job involves
The Facilities Clerk provides comprehensive support to the Soft Services Manager for all equipment, supplies, and general facility operations. This role requires an enthusiastic, proactive individual who serves as a key point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors while delivering exceptional customer service. The position involves assisting with facility maintenance coordination, and supporting various administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Assist with coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities and provide support for small office moves
Manage small facility management tasks and continuously monitor office/facility operations
Act as an interface with clients, visitors, and guests while ensuring appropriate follow-up with clients
Support the maintenance team by collaborating with vendors and service providers including facilities, janitorial, movers, and equipment providers
Replenish gowning and other operating supplies as needed
Perform routine test of safety showers and eyewash stations
Act as the backup for the Environmental Technician role (waste/recycling management).
Perform hospitality services as needed.
Support the shipping/receiving department.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Ability to spend much of the day on feet while performing various tasks
Must be able to work quickly with hands and have good hand/eye coordination
Walking and standing for extended periods throughout the facility
Bending, reaching, and stretching to access mail slots, storage areas, and equipment
Operating various office equipment including postage machines, printers, and copiers
Working in typical office environment with occasional exposure to mechanical areas
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1-2 years of previous mailroom and/or facilities experience
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
Excellent computer skills including word processing, Excel, and database entry
Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively manage stressful situations
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of postage machines, printers, and other office equipment operations
Basic understanding of facility maintenance coordination processes
Experience with courier services and package tracking systems
Customer service experience in corporate or facility environments
Familiarity with vendor coordination and service provider management
Experience supporting office moves or space management activities
Self-motivated personality with confidence, energy, and flexibility
