Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Greenhouse Labour Manager to oversee daily operations within our greenhouse facility. This role involves managing planting, maintenance, and harvesting activities, ensuring optimal plant health and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess strong horticultural knowledge, mechanical skills, and leadership abilities to coordinate a team effectively and maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily greenhouse activities including planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water delivery and plant health.
- Coordinate labor schedules and assign tasks to team members based on workload and skill levels.
- Monitor plant growth and health, implementing pest control or disease management as needed.
