Purpose of the position
The incumbent will:
- Assist with organizing programs, events, and services to meet community needs.
- Provide customer service and direct support to patrons, participants, staff, and instructors.
- Provide ideas, suggestions, and recommendations regarding programs, supplies and equipment.
- Monitor activities of users during leagues, drop in and public times in fieldhouses and arenas.
- Set up and take down equipment for activities/events.

Support safety and risk management related to programs, events, and services.

To be successful in this position, you will hold these qualifications:
- Be !5+ years old

Standard .First Aid, CPR C and AED Certification is required

High-Five Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset.
- Bring knowledge of basic sport and activities skills and rules.
- Demonstrate an interest and caring attitude in working with children and public.
- Have the ability to work with and include all ages, backgrounds, and abilities in professional manner.
- Hold strong communications, customer service, conflict resolution, and public relations skills.

Possess basic computer skills.

Be able to lift and move 50 lbs as a regular part of the position is to set up and take down equipment for events.

Have a flexible schedule (days, evenings, and weekends).

Be comfortable with physical exertion as well as working in a gym and outdoor settings.

Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset.

Position details:

Salary range is: $23.50 - $33.35 hourly

Casual hours - scheduled as needed as determined by Supervisor

Shifts may fall beween Monday to Sunday, and include days, evenings, and weekends.

All casuals receive an all access pass to Bold Center and Aquatics Pool
