The Role
We are looking for a senior line cook who owns their station and raises the level of everyone around them. You will run a section during service, execute our menu to specification, and act as a steady hand the rest of the line looks to. This is a leadership position on the line suited to a cook with real fine-dining depth who wants responsibility and a path to grow.
What You'll Do
- Run a designated station through high-volume dinner service, plating to Dante's standard without compromise. Set the pace, correct technique, and hold the section accountable. Own mise en place for your station and verify readiness before every service. Maintain consistency in seasoning, portioning, and presentation across every plate that leaves your pass. Support food-cost discipline — minimize waste, respect yields, and follow costed recipes and specs. Uphold HACCP and Ontario food-safety standards, keeping your station clean, labelled, and inspection-ready.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of professional line experience, with time in a fine-dining or high-end scratch kitchen. The ability to run a station independently under pressure and keep composure during a full book. Working knowledge of food-safety and sanitation standards; Food Handler Certification an asset. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as the service calendar requires.
