What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of skilled technicians, service advisors, and support staff
- Foster a customer-first culture from the moment a customer arrives until long after the job is complete
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality workmanship
- Set, monitor, and achieve key performance goals, including customer satisfaction and departmental profitability
- Ensure every vehicle is repaired accurately, efficiently, and right the first time
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
- Work closely with the Parts and Sales departments to create a seamless customer experience and efficient workflow
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment for your team
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience managing or assisting in the management of a dealership or high-volume automotive service department
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead by example
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Solid knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Experience using dealership management software
- AST certifications are considered an asset but are not required
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
