We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is mandatory. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable cleaning skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to cleaning operations
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Must be able to obtain municipal security clearance
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
