Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our Landscape Company team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, and personnel to various job sites while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient driving, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations across all landscape projects.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks (Hino 195 Dump Trucks) and vehicles to transport landscaping materials, tools, and equipment to designated locations.
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items using appropriate equipment such as skid steers when necessary.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and team members.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties.
- Support warehouse operations by assisting with inventory management and moving supplies as needed.
- You will occasionally need to help out on the job site.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
- Familiarity with skid steer operation is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely.
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for handling materials efficiently.
- Knowledge of moving procedures, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance best practices.
