Leavens Chrysler has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to lead our dealership team!
Reporting to the Dealer Principal and Group Leadership Team, the General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the dealership, including sales, service, parts, finance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This position will assist in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve operational excellence, drive revenue growth, and maintain our high-performing, customer-oriented organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support department managers and team members, holding them accountable for achieving operational, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Promote a positive, performance-driven workplace culture that reflects our company values and encourages employee engagement and development.
- Champion a customer-first approach throughout all dealership departments to bolster customer loyalty and deliver an exceptional experience.
- Oversee all dealership operations, including vehicle sales, service, parts, finance, and administration.
- Monitor dealership performance and implement strategies to improve profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with department managers to establish and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.
- Review financial performance regularly with the Controller and management team, comparing actual results against forecasts and budgets, and address required next steps.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and applicable regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Chrysler representatives, customers, and community partners.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Additional education in automotive dealership management is considered an asset.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive automotive dealership management experience required.
- Previous General Manager experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of both variable operations (sales and finance) and fixed operations (service and parts).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and key dealership performance metrics.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- Proven track record of driving profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Chrysler/Stellantis processes and standards is considered an asset.
Special Requirements
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence with a clean driving abstract.
- OMVIC Certification required.
