Massage Therapist
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific areas of concern.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain professional licensure and stay updated on industry best practices through ongoing education.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a relaxing experience for clients.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and explain treatment plans.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care in a compassionate manner.
Pay: $39.69-$101.35 per hour
