We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and skilled Handyman / General Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of work and takes pride in completing projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including:
- Basic carpentry and framing
- Drywall installation and repairs
- Interior and exterior painting
- Roof cleaning and maintenance
- Gutter cleaning and repairs
- Pressure washing
- Fence and deck repairs
- Minor plumbing and electrical repairs (where qualified)
- General property maintenance and repairs
- Installing fixtures, shelving, doors, trim, and hardware
- Maintaining clean and safe job sites
- Identifying maintenance issues and recommending solutions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, or handyman services
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic building repairs
- Experience using hand and power tools safely
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid BC Driver's Licence. Vehicle will be provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders and rooftops when required
- Roofing, flooring, tiling, or landscaping experience is considered an asset
