Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensure a positive dining experience, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role involves preparing and serving beverages and food, managing POS transactions, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Micros POS systems are preferred, but we value enthusiasm and a strong commitment to hospitality.
Duties
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards.
- Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy.
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, including setting up and breaking down stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management skills.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in opening or closing duties as assigned.
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar cashiering systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
