About the Program
Future Girls Soccer is expanding its elite training pathway with our FGSU High-Performance Camp. This intensive program is exclusively designed for elite female athletes competing at the OPDL, League1, and provincial/national pathways. The camp focuses on advanced tactical execution, high-intensity technical precision, and collegiate preparation for dedicated players aged 16 and older.
Position Overview
We are seeking passionate, elite-level Competitive Soccer Coaches who possess the tactical knowledge and playing experience required to push top-tier athletes to their limits.
The ideal candidate has a strong competitive playing background (University/College, League1, or Professional) and can actively demonstrate high-level skills while delivering intense, sophisticated training sessions. You will be working with mature, highly driven athletes who require sharp feedback, advanced tactical drills, and a mentor who understands the demands of the modern high-performance game.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute high-intensity, technical, and tactical training sessions tailored for OPDL and collegiate-bound athletes.
- Provide real-time, constructive, and sophisticated technical feedback to players.
- Demonstrate advanced soccer mechanics and game-like scenarios at a high tempo.
- Foster a highly competitive, motivating, and professional environment that mirrors collegiate or professional training standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High-Level Playing Experience: Current or former experience playing at a high competitive level (U Sports, NCAA, League1, OCAA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Coaching Credentials: Valid Canada Soccer C-Licence (or working towards it), National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) certification, or equivalent international credentials.
- Experience: Proven track record coaching competitive youth (specifically senior youth/U16+) or adult athletes in a high-performance environment (OPDL, regional, or provincial levels).
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills, strong leadership presence, and the ability to command respect from elite, mature athletes.
- Clearance: A valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required.
