Duties
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices throughout all stages of meal preparation
- Prepare ingredients for meal assembly, including chopping, mixing, and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by providing excellent customer service
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in meal presentation
- Manage food handling procedures responsibly to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols is advantageous
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for hygiene and sanitation
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and serving customers enhances performance in this role
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
