Job Title – Bilingual - Operations officer
Period – 12 months
Location – Mississauga, ON
Job Summary
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to verify customer information and perform KYC checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support back-office functions such as data entry, document review, and maintaining meticulous records.
- Provide customers with detailed information on wire transfers and other banking transactions, confirming details without processing transactions directly.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, participate in daily meetings, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time, adhering to strict service level agreements (SLAs).
Required Skills:
- Fully bilingual in English and French, written and verbal.
- At least 4 years of experience in the banking or financial sector.
- Proven expertise in conducting KYC checks and handling financial transactions.
- Call center experience with the ability to manage inbound and outbound communications effectively.
- Proficiency in MS 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and high accuracy.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with bank wire transfers and other financial transactions.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Up to 2 years of experience in trade processing, cash products, or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
