Continental Sausage in South Surrey has a day shift production associate position available at our new facility.
Previous experience working in a food processing facility would be a definite asset as well as fork lift or reach truck training. If you have a desire for a career in the food industry and you have past experience working in a fast-paced environment, we would consider training you for this position.
The position would be general labour in our production area, this would include operating machinery to mix and inject brine for curing meats, netting roasts, hanging linked sausage, unboxing frozen meat from cartons, cleaning machinery and tools daily.
The position is very physical in nature and the ability to lift up to 22 kilograms is necessary.
Compensation is an hourly wage starting at $21.00 per hour, but could be more based on experience and ability. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
