Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Steel Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling steel components to meet precise specifications and project deadlines. Your expertise in various welding techniques will be essential in delivering high-quality steel structures and assemblies. Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment including MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welders to join steel parts with precision and strength.
- Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble steel materials.
- Perform rigging tasks to lift, position, and secure heavy steel pieces safely during fabrication and installation processes.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols related to crane operation, forklift handling, and ductwork installation.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks involving construction experience, schematics interpretation, and mechanical knowledge for efficient project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience in steel fabrication or welding within manufacturing or construction environments.
- Strong proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with machinery such as press brake machines, machining tools, cranes, forklifts, and ductwork installation processes.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics related to assembly or manufacturing projects.
- Prior experience working with construction teams or on ductwork projects is a plus.
- Ability to operate rigging equipment safely while maintaining awareness of safety standards related to crane operation and lifting procedures.

Pay: $39,576.62-$66,594.35 per year
