Part-Time AZ Driver – Local / Regional Relief Driver
McGILL Transportation Inc. is a family-owned LTL/TL transportation company serving Central Ontario, Northern Ontario, Toronto, and the GTA.
We are looking for a dependable, experienced part-time AZ driver to provide vacation coverage, assist during busy periods, and help support our operations as needed.
This is a home-daily position with flexible hours based on operational requirements. No cross-border work is required.

The Role
This position is ideal for an experienced driver looking to stay active while enjoying a flexible schedule.
Depending on operational needs, you may be asked to operate:
- Tractor-trailer day cabs
- Straight trucks
Assignments will vary based on vacation coverage, customer demand, and workload.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years AZ driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract
- Professional, dependable, and safety-focused
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Comfortable operating in both urban (city) and rural environments
- Comfortable servicing Central Ontario, Northern Ontario, Toronto, and the GTA as required
Technology Requirements
Drivers must be comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to:
- Complete electronic Hours of Service (ELD) requirements
- Communicate with dispatch
- Access trip information and routing
- Use electronic Bills of Lading (eBOL) and shipment tracking systems as they are introduced
You don't need to be an IT expert, but you should be comfortable using mobile technology as part of your daily work.
Assets (Not Required)
- Forklift certification or experience
- LTL/P&D experience
- Experience operating manual transmissions
