We are currently recruiting contract faculty for the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician - HVAC Program. In this program you will provide students with an in-depth knowledge of HVAC and related topics such as reducing climate change and increasing sustainable practices.
Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician Program
What We Are Looking For:
You possess a relevant combination of education and current, progressive experience in the field of study. You have experience teaching or working within the field. You actively research and keep abreast of current issues and trends related to the field. You have experience and a strong background in HVAC.
Minimum Requirements:

5 years of industry experience while holding the following certificates
-
Gas technician 2 (G2)
-
Oil Burner Technician 2 (OBT-2)
Ideal requirements:
The addition of the following current compulsory trade certificates issued by Skilled Trades Ontario (STO)
313-D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic
OR
313-A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic
Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certificate issued by the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute (HRAI)
Communication: Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to deliver and receive feedback, as well as well-developed critical thinking/problem-solving, and organizational / time management skills are required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning as a dual professional, fostering relationships and connections while providing accessible, inclusive, superior service to students.
Computer Proficiency: You are proficient working with a variety of computer applications including Microsoft Excel, word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet search, learning management systems and online learning applications. Additional computer proficiency will be relative to the knowledge required for the programs of study.

Salary Range:
