WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER
A leader in distribution of fresh produce.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager at our Calgary location.
We are looking for an effective Warehouse Assistant Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. As the Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production, shipping, safety, maintenance and storage of a wide variety of produce. You should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibility and Duties:
· Manage the day to day operations of the fast-paced facility
· Maintain accurate reporting and monitor all policies, procedures and regulations
· Oversee, direct and manage receiving, warehousing, distribution and quality control functions
· Organize the maintenance/repair of equipment and machinery
· Ensuring targets are met on a daily basis
· Working on the floor with team leads and production employees
· Communicating with Sales Team and Operations Team
· Ensure compliance with OHS procedures and practices
· Recruit, train, coach and mentor staff
· Create and maintain a safe and positive working environment to promote employee morale and productivity
Requirements:
· Must have warehouse and fresh produce experience
· Minimum of 3+ years of progressive management experience
· Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Extensive knowledge of MS Office programs
· Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
· Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
· Strong decision making and problem solving skills

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
