Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Job Description
The role involves manual testing and data reconciliation for large business systems within the Community Services Cluster in Toronto. The project is critical and requires full-time onsite presence to ensure the successful execution of testing strategies and accessibility compliance.
Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Responsibilities
- Provide advice on the testing strategy and test plans.
- Lead and execute manual testing activities for complex business systems.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and expected test results.
- Conduct data reconciliation activities.
- Perform accessibility testing of applications aligning with AODA (WCAG2.0 AA).
- Utilize tools such as IBM J-Rules Engine, Jira, Bugzilla, and HP/Microfocus Product Suite.
Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience in manual testing and data reconciliation for large systems.
- Experience in developing test plans for complex systems.
- Familiarity with setting up test strategies for systems with high change rates.
- Proficiency in accessibility testing of web-based platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with workflow and portfolio management.
- Knowledge of custom and COTS implementations.
- Experience in public sector projects.
