Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring activities through surveillance systems, conducting patrols, and implementing loss prevention strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Prior experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including coordinating with law enforcement if necessary
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and issuing visitor passes
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence at all times
Requirements
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or high-stress situations
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively
- Ability to stand or patrol for extended periods as required
- Must pass background checks and any necessary licensing requirements in accordance with local regulations
- Availability to work flexible shifts as needed to ensure 24/7 security coverage
Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
