Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated EE/ECEA to join our team. This role involves fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children to support their developmental and educational growth.
Duties
- Provide quality care and creative programming to children
- Build meaningful and positive relationships with children and families
- Provide attentive caregiving, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all children in the classroom
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment where every child feels respected and valued.
- Guide children's behaviour using positive guidance techniques that encourage self-regulation, problem-solving, and empathy.
- Support children in developing social and emotional skills through positive interactions and role modeling.
- Help children resolve conflicts peacefully by encouraging communication, cooperation, and respect for others.
- Assist children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
Qualifications
- Basic ECE/ECEA certification from a program recognized in British Columbia
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Emergency First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate
**Wage Enhancement is not included.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
