Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial electrical work and be proficient in building, installing, and maintaining electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Electrician will ensure that all electrical installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commerical settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installations and repairs effectively.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and low voltage systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes during all electrical work.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Ability to pull permit in the city of St.John's and surrounding areas
Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and logic controllers is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
