Toronto IBI is looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill in part-time and full-time Instructor Therapist positions in the North York and Toronto area. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (or other developmental disabilities) at one of our centre-based locations while employing ABA / IBI teaching strategies as directed by a Senior Therapist (BCBA/RBA) and Clinical Director (BCBA/RBA).
Successful candidates will collaborate with team members in the consistent implementation of a student's behavioural programs and procedures, maintain regular communication with parents as required and participate in scheduled team meetings and training conferences as required.
Successful candidates should possess:
- A College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- ABA/Autism related Diploma/Certificate is an asset.
- Experience as an Instructor Therapist (IT) implementing ABA/IBI programming is an asset (training will also be provided)
