Heavy Equipment Operator - CIVIL
IWC Excavation Ltd is a specialized Civil and General Contractor based out of Nanaimo, BC.
Currently we are looking to add experienced Excavator Operators to our team for work on our Mid and North Island projects.
- MUST have MINIMUM 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment in Civil Construction and Site Works
- Experience in parkade excavations and working with shoring contractors
- Must have prior experience working around existing and live underground utilities
- Class 5 driver's license
- Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
- Knowledge of Sewer/Storm/Water Works
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage
- Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
- Machine GPS experience considered an asset
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
