Tutor Doctor North Fraser is looking for French Tutors to provide in-home 1:1 support. We have a need for both Elementary School & High School level tutors. Accepting applicants to serve Maple Ridge, Tri-Cities and New Westminster.
Who we are:
Tutor Doctor provides one-to-one individualized instruction in the home. We work with students of all ages; whether the student is an elementary student with a learning disability or a teen requiring advanced instruction, our in-home tutoring services are customized to individual abilities and needs. The majority of students we support are in grades 1 through 12.
About The Position:
We are seeking tutors who are knowledgeable and qualified to prep Grade 1-12in a 1-on-1 setting. This is a part-time contract position. We offer students based on tutor qualifications, location, and teaching style. Our tutors choose which students to accept and determine their own weekly schedule. Tutors are matched to students based on qualifications, subject/ grade expertise, availability, and location.
Tutors who are successfully contracted will be required to submit a vulnerable sector background check before they can begin working with students. We offer an orientation, access to resources, and ongoing support.
Requirements : :
- Post-secondary education in a related field of study
- Knowledge of teaching techniques and learning styles
- Tutoring experience (Formal or Informal)
- Excellent communication skills
- Dependability and professionalism
- A car to travel to student’s homes for in-home tutoring

Compensation:
Hourly rate of $18-$23 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
