Happy Kingdom Playground is a large indoor entertainment center for families and children located in Mississauga. Our facility features a large soft play area, arcade game machines, VR experiences, party rooms, and a food court. We are a popular destination for birthday parties, family outings, and group events.
We are currently seeking a responsible and energetic Customer Service Associate to support daily operations and help lead our team. This role involves assisting managers of daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.
This position must be full-time, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Operations
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the facility
- Supervise and support staff including cashiers, play attendants, and party hosts
- Help with staff scheduling, shift coverage, and team coordination
- Train new employees on company procedures, customer service standards, and safety policies
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance when needed
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests receive excellent customer service at all times
- Assist guests with questions regarding activities, pricing, bookings, and promotions
- Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently
Facility & Safety Management
- Ensure all play areas, arcade machines, party rooms, and food areas remain clean and safe
- Enforce playground safety rules and waiver policies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Sales & Event Support
- Assist with birthday party bookings and event coordination
- Support POS operations, transactions, and daily cash handling procedures
- Help oversee party room preparation, event setup, and post-event sanitization
Inventory & Maintenance
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies when needed
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs to management
Other Duties
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Support management with operational tasks and special projects as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred (assistant manager, shift lead, or team lead)
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment venues, restaurants, or recreation facilities preferred
- High school diploma required; College/University education preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using POS systems, booking systems, and basic computer software
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- CPR or First Aid Certification is an asset
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
