We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented turnover cleaner to maintain our beautiful short-term rental cottage. If you are tired of trading hours for dollars and prefer being rewarded for your efficiency, this gig is for you.
We don't pay hourly. We pay a flat rate per turnaround. If the property takes 3 hours to clean, you get paid the full flat rate. If you are experienced, fast, and get it done flawlessly in 2 hours, you still get paid the exact same flat rate. Rate is dependent on property $90-$130 per cleaning.
The Work Window
- Strict Start Time: Checkouts occur at 11:00 AM. You can access the property immediately at 11:00 AM.
- Strict Deadline: The property must be completely staged, cleaned, and guest-ready by 4:00 PM for the next check-in.
- Schedule: Days vary based on guest bookings. You will have visibility into the calendar weeks in advance via our scheduling app to claim the dates that work for you (heavy weekend availability in the summer is a massive plus).
What the Job Involves (The Reset)
This isn't a deep residential clean—it is a fast-paced property reset. Your goal is to make the cottage look identical to a high-end luxury hotel room before the next guest arrives:
- Linen Swap: Strip the beds and put dirty sheets/towels in the designated bins. Remake beds beautifully with a fresh set of crisp white linens.
- Kitchen & Bath Reset: Sanitize the bathroom and kitchen, wipe down appliances, empty the fridge, and ensure no dishes are left behind.
- Floor Care: Vacuum rugs and mop hard floors to ensure no sand, hair, or dust remains.
- Staging & Restocking: Replenish essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, coffee pods) and stage the space according to our photo guide.
- Photo Check-In: Take quick before-and-after photos on your smartphone and upload them to our app so we know the job is done.
What You Need to Bring
- Reliable Transportation: You must have your own vehicle to get to and from the property reliably at 11:00 AM.
- An Eye for Detail: Guests rate us on cleanliness. Stray hairs, dusty corners, or a messy bed can break our business.
- A Smartphone: To view the schedule, follow the checklist, and upload completion photos.
- Independence: You will be working on your own to beat the clock.
This position is an existing vacancy with an immediate start date. No AI screening tools are used in our selection process.
