BOH Manager / Line Cook
Full-Time Year-Round Position
We're looking for an experienced, motivated Back of House Manager / Line Cook to join our busy bakery, café, and restaurant team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and leads by example.

Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside the kitchen team during daily service
- Prepare and cook high-quality menu items with consistency
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation
- Monitor food costing and minimize waste
- Create staff schedules and manage labour costs
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff
- Ensure all health, safety, and food sanitation standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings
- Work closely with management to achieve operational goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience required
- Strong line cooking skills and ability to work all stations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and ordering
- Proven leadership and team-building abilities
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to perform well under pressure
- Passion for quality food and exceptional customer experiences
