We are looking to hire an enthusiastic part-time entry level Production Team Member to join our positive and supportive team at Provisions Food Company in Beamsville.
Hours:
- Part-time Opportunity: Join our team for 2-5 flexible workdays per week, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on the evolving needs of our dynamic business. This may include shifts for day shift and/or afternoon shift.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production kitchen, weighing ingredients, pouring jam, etc.
- Perform various tasks primarily in the kitchen and additionally in packaging areas, as required.
- Keep production areas clean and clear.
- Packaging, filling and labeling of jams, shortbreads, popcorn, salts.
- Ensure product compliance to established standards.
- Perform all related tasks requested by the Production and/or Packaging Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate well (verbally and written).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Job lifting: up to 50 lbs from ground to tables or shelving.
- Enjoy a fast paced work environment.
- Can stand on feet for up to 8 hours a day.
- Previous work experience in the food industry or food manufacturing is considered an asset, but not essential.
- Ability to follow procedures and execute them efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Can work in a repetitive fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.

Compensation:
Provisions Food Company is proud to be a Living Wage Employer. Upon successful completion of a probationary period you will be compensated Niagara's Living Wage.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
