About the Role
Ingenia Polymers Corp. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join our plant operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping production running smoothly by coordinating production schedules, ensuring materials and packaging are available, maintaining accurate inventory and SAP records, and ensuring production jobs are properly prepared, reconciled, and closed.
You will work closely with Production, Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Accounting, and Corporate teams, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities while solving problems as they arise.

What You'll Do
Production Coordination
- Review production schedules daily and coordinate the preparation and release of upcoming production jobs
- Ensure jobs are properly prepared, documented, and issued on time to support uninterrupted production
- Work closely with Production and Scheduling teams to monitor progress and respond to schedule changes
- Identify potential material, scheduling, inventory, or operational issues and proactively coordinate solutions
Inventory & Materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records for Toll and Bulk product, work-in-process, finished goods, and packaging
- Receive and record bulk material and other material receipts in the SAP system
- Conduct physical inventory counts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor packaging inventory and coordinate purchasing to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Prepare inventory adjustments and stock conversions in accordance with established procedures
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure materials and packaging are available when required
Production Jobs & ERP
- Prepare and maintain production job documentation and job binders
- Verify production recipes and system information before jobs are released to production
- Enter and maintain accurate production and inventory information in SAP
- Reconcile raw material consumption, finished goods receipts, inventory transactions, and production records
- Review job costs, yields, and variances and investigate discrepancies
- Complete production job closures within established timelines and procedures
Rail & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound bulk rail movements with railway service providers and internal stakeholders
- Track railcars through placement, loading, unloading, release, and movement
- Maintain accurate railcar and material status information
- Proactively identify rail or supply issues that could impact production and coordinate resolution
- Escalate significant operational risks to the appropriate management team
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare routine and ad hoc reports related to production, inventory, materials, and logistics
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and ISO-related records
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, information flow, inventory accuracy, and production coordination
- Provide timely information and updates to Production, Logistics, Planning, and Corporate teams

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, logistics, inventory, supply chain, or a related role
- Experience working in a manufacturing or plant environment is strongly preferred
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to work with data, reports, and spreadsheets
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with Production, Logistics, Planning, Procurement, Accounting, and Corporate teams
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is an asset
Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
