Job Summary
GeoTerra Surveys is looking a Survey Technologist with field experience in cadastral surveying in PEI or a PEI Land Surveyor in Training to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, analytical, and enthusiastic about their work.
Responsibilities
- Working in a team environment and individually in both field and office settings
- Performing various types of surveys efficiently and accurately, and maintaining concise field notes and sketches
- Working in both urban and rural settings, including construction sites, in all types of weather
- Ensuring survey equipment and company vehicles are maintained and organized
- Adhering to company safety policies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized surveying or Geomatics program
- Experience in cadastral field surveying, including condo, and multifaceted developments in PEI
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think critically, be well organized with attention to detail
- Experience researching, reviewing and extracting information from legal plans
- Computer and technical competence
- Must have a valid Driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide mentorship to others
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
