Baking & Production Assistant (Cookies & Ice Cream!)
Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time: 35–40 hours per week (4 month contract)
- Contract Date: August 15, 2026 to November 15, 2026 with the possibility to extend (a permanent contract)
- Pay: $18–$23 per hour
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00/2:30 PM (early mornings required)
About the Role
We produce a lot of cookies and scoop a lot of ice cream to create our version of the perfect ice cream sandwich! There’s no customer service involved in this role its just focused, hands-on production and team work. Duties are relatively the same everyday and training is provided for all tasks. Must be able to commute our downtown location, there is no parking onsite.
Key Responsibilities
- Scoop ice cream and assemble ice cream sandwiches
- Prepare cookie dough, portion/roll, and bake cookies
- Package finished sandwiches using machinery
- Prepare and fulfill customer orders
- Track production data and communicate updates via Google Sheets
- Follow provincial health/safety regulations and all company policies
- Perform other production tasks as needed
Work Environment
- Fast-paced commercial kitchen
- Repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
- Standing on feet and moving for duration of the shift
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift and hold 50 lbs comfortably
- Valid Food Handling Certification
- At least 3 years of professional baking/pastry experience
- Valid work permit (if applicable)

- Self-sufficient with strong time management to meet daily production quotas and quality standards

- Comfortable using Google Sheets
- Goal-driven, flexible, and eager to improve
